1. First, you need to understand what an EPS file is.

   EPS stands for encapsulated postscript. They are graphics (or image) files based on Adobe's postscript format. You can view the eps image file, edit the eps file, and also embed the image file into documents.

2. Try to open EPS files by going directly to the source and using Adobe's software, Adobe PDF reader. Adobe supports these image and graphic files and will open eps files on any computer.

3. Embed the EPS files in a document.

   Use Microsoft word or open office (another free word processing document) to view eps files. To do this, you should insert the file as an image into your document to work with the EPS file.
