The Census Bureau has a test they give to the job seekers. These test simple skills such as being able to read maps, sort alphabetically or by date, and understand instructions. If you want to be fully prepared, you might want to take a practice test. I've provided a link at the bottom.

Find your regional census office. You can do this at the US Census Bureau's website. Again, I've provided a link at the bottom.

Once you are at your region's page, click "Regional Employment" (found on the left hand side).

Click on your state's link and find the employment information that you're looking for.
