The purpose of this article is to instruct you how to make a simple round Pinata using common materials.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Balloon
  • Old Newspaper
  • White glue
  • Tissue paper
  • Paint
  • Glitter
  1. Step 1

    Blow up the balloon and tie it. The size of the Pinata is dependent on the size of the balloon. The bigger the the balloon, the bigger the pinata. Don't let your cat bite the balloon.

  2. Step 2

    Cut the newspaper into strips. One inch strips work the best.

  3. Step 3

    Put the glue in a bowl that is deep enough to dip the paper into the glue.

  4. Step 4

    Dip the paper into the glue. Smooth excess glue off of paper.

  5. Step 5

    Smooth paper onto the balloon. You don't want it all lumpy and nasty.

  6. Step 6

    Repeat step five until most of the balloon is covered. Allow room to pop the balloon. and get the pieces out. you don't want a bunch of chunks of balloon in there. Allow the paper to dry.

  7. Step 7

    Pop balloon with pin. And remove all the balloon pieces.

  8. Step 8

    Fill with candy, prizes or whatever you want.

  9. Step 9

    Cover the hole with paper strips dipped in glue and allow to dry.

  10. Step 10

    Decorate with remaining materials to your taste.

  11. Step 11

    Enjoy destroying your creation.
