Sometimes, it is difficult to think of things to draw. There are things, people, places to draw. Being not able to draw anything is hard. Limiting yourself is not a good thing, this will stop you from drawing more. Follow the steps below:

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Experiment: Experiment with new or different mediums. Try drawing with different mediums or use two mediums at the same time. For example, use watercolor and pen or pencil and markers

  2. Step 2

Draw with a new technique: Don't be afraid to draw differently. Look or search for different drawing techniques.

  3. Step 3

Get inspired: Look around you, look at the art. Go outside, go to museums, look at books.

  4. Step 4

Think who, what, when, where. Try drawing a person, a thing, a place or a scene from the past. Do not limit your creativity.

  5. Step 5

Keep a sketchbook or drawing journal or gluebook. This will help you get drawing. You can also challenge yourself. For example, keep a goal to draw one thing a day.

  6. Step 6

Join art communities. Join communities in your neighborhood, school or internet. They may have assignments for each week or contests.
