Things You'll Need:
- refrigerated tube of Crescent rolls (Pillsbury)
- frozen mixed vegetables
- cream cheese
- can fruit cocktail & lettuce
- packaged cookie
- beverage

Step 1
1. In a microwave, heat 1/2 bag mixed frozen vegetables. Drain and set aside.
2. In a microwave oven heat either a 3 oz package or 1/2 an 8 oz. package of regular cream cheese, until it is creamy.
3. Mix the vegetables and creamed cheese. -
Step 2
1. Preheat an oven to 350 degrees.
2. Open the refrigerated dough and separate, leaving 3-4 groups of 2 Crescent roll triangles together to make 3-4 squares. Pinch to seal up the diagonal perforations. (this will be a square with corners brought up to meet in the top middle. THOROUGHLY SEAL by pinching seams together)
3. Place about 1/2 cup creamy vegetable filling in each square, fold to seal, then pat down to make them 3/3 - 1" thick.
4. Bake about 25 minutes, til just browned. Cool while preparing the salad. -
Step 3
1. Wash and tear lettuce leaves, about 4 per person. Put on a salad plate.
2. Open can of fruit cocktail. with slotted spoon, spoon about 1/2 cup fruit over each person's lettuce. -
Step 4
1. set out a plate of cookies, 2 per person (some will eat 1, others - 2 or 3)
2. fill glasses with iced tea or wine spritzer (fill glass 2/3 with ice, add 1/2 cup wine then fill with clear soda)
