This is just insanely easy

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12 string guitar, electronic guitar tuner, or piano
  1. Step 1

Go string by string starting with the lowest string. The strings are E,A,D,G,B,E same as a six string guitar.

The only difference between a 12 string guitar, and a 6 string guitar, is that each string is doubled with a different guage of string. The tuning is the same.

For example, The lowest (2) strings, or the "low E", are both tuned to the same "low E" note, the only difference is that the "low E" string is 2 strings close together with a different guage, and hence a slightly different tone.

  2. Step 2

If your using a piano, you would start with the "E" key just below the middle C, If your using a electronic guitar tuner, set the tuner to the low "E".

  3. Step 3
