Things You'll Need:
- Tape measure(appx 25ft)
- draft paper or plain white paper
- calculator
- assistant to hold tape if needed

Step 1
Start by drawing a simple square on paper, or L-shape. indicate where doors and windows, gas line, etc are located.

Step 2
measure from corner of wall to any object alone wall such as window or door.(measure outside casement or molding of object

Step 3
Starting at corner measure to any object alone wall such as window or door. measure to molding or casing of object. write measurement on drawing

Step 4
measure from corner wall to center of sink or sink window.
measure from corner wall to gas line or center of vent hood. -
Step 5
measure height of windows and distance off floor.
measure floor to ceiling. allow for different heights if ceiling is a cathedral or sloped.
