How to Make a Natural Facial Scrub

Learn to create a simple and effective facial scrub using ingredients you already have at home to leave your skin feeling fresh and exfoliated!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water, Sugar, Aspirin
  1. Step 1

    Take 1 Aspirin and crush using anything hard with a flat surface

  2. Step 2

    Wet one of your hands under the sink and place the crushed Aspirin in the center of your palm

  3. Step 3

    Add a Teaspoon of sugar (any kind you like) to the Aspirin in the palm of your hand

  4. Step 4

    Add a few drops of water and mix the sugar and Aspirin together using 1 or 2 fingers. (Continue adding water a few drops at a time) until you have a thick paste in the palm of your hand

  5. Step 5

    Scrub your face with the mixture avoiding contact with your eyes. Lather for 30 sec to 2 minutes to exfoliate all of the dry skin

  6. Step 6

    Rinse with warm water and pat face dry to reveal a healthy exfoliated feel with the natural and beneficial effects of Aspirin

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also add a little bit of honey to help un-clog pores and provide a smoother lather
  • Do not scrub too hard
  • Avoid if any adverse reactions to Aspirin in past
  • Do not scrub every day
  • Consult a Physician if redness occurs longer than 2 hours
