Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • bunch of fresh asparagus
  • tablespoon butter
  • kosher salt(optional)
  • fresh ground pepper
  • dash of oregano
  1. Step 1

    Wash Asparagus with cold water cut the bottom(just the tip of the bottom which is dry looking) piece of the asparagus lay on a few pieces of paper towel and dry gently slice the asparagus diagonally into 4 pieces per stem

  2. Step 2

    Meanwhile heat a pan of your choice just until it gets hot add the tablespoon of butter to heated pan

  3. Step 3

    Add a dash of the kosher salt (optional) and a dash of the oregano into the butter dash of fresh ground black pepper

  4. Step 4

    Put the asparagus gently into the pan with the butter and cook turning the asparagus evenly. cook for about 10 -15 minutes until there is a shiny look to the asparagus.

  5. Step 5

    Eat alone or serve as a side dish Make sure that you do not overcook the asparagus you want it to be a little crunchy If you prefer it softer, than cook it a little longer Yum Yum keep me posted
