Things You'll Need:
- Your favorite pasta
- 1/4 stick of butter
- 1 - 8 oz can of shrimp (small frozen shrimp can also be used if you prefer)
- Kraft Parmesan Cheese
-
Step 1
To make Shrimp Parmesan Pasta, start by cooking 8 oz. of your favorite pasta as you normally would (I like to use thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta).
-
Step 2
While your pasta cooks, in a separate pan (or in a microwave safe bowl) melt 1/4 stick of butter.
-
Step 3
Once your butter is melted add your frozen shrimp (or your canned shrimp, drained). Saute your shrimp until warmed thoroughly.
-
Step 4
Pour your butter and shrimp over the pasta. Mix well until all of the pasta has a light coating.
-
Step 5
Add 1/4 teaspoon of Old Bay Seasoning (more if you like a strong garlic flavor). Toss well.
-
Step 6
Can you smell it?Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over your pasta (for a stronger flavor, use shredded Parmesan cheese).
-
Step 7
VARIATION:
If you have leftover pasta use that pasta for this dish. Using your leftover pasta will help this meal take only minutes to make. You can steam the pasta to rewarm it or heat it in the microwave for a few seconds. Do the butter, shrimp, Old Bay and Parmesan the same as the above instructions. -
Step 8
Serve with garlic bread and enjoy!
