Jello shots have a nice taste and punch to it if you make it right. Follow these simple instructions to creating a fun filled snack for the party.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 6 ounces of lime Jello (or preferred flavor)
  • 2 packages of Knox
  • 16 ounces of boiling water
  • Bacardi 151
  • Turkey baster or soup spoon
  • thin paper cups used for ketchup (like at McDonalds or In & Out Burger)
  1. Step 1

Mix the knox and jello into a microwavable bowl or as long as the bowl can stand the heat of boiling water. Make sure to mix the knox in well enough so that you can't even tell it was mixed in. This will help the knox from creating lumps.

  2. Step 2

Boil the water. Microwaving the water into a measuring cup would make it easier to pour into the bowl of jello.

  3. Step 3

Pour the boiling water into the jello powder. Mix until there are no more lumps.

  4. Step 4

Use a spoon or turkey baster to add the jello into the shot cups. Fill them 3/4 of the way. Let them cool for about 15-20 minutes.

  5. Step 5

Use the same method to fill the cups with jello for the Barcardi 151. Try not to fill them up too much with 151 or the jello will not set and you'll just get slimy jello shots.

Tips & Warnings
  • Put your jello shot cups in trays of cardboard so it is easier to carry and not worry about spilling when filling.
  • Make sure to get alot of the paper cups. These types of paper cups also help when squezing all the jello out.
  • Lime usually tastes good with alcohol, but you can use any flavor and experiment.
  • Use the recipe at your own risk
  • Results can vary
