Making meal menus for the week is a great way to lose weight and stay within your family budget!

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Make a list of foods and meals that your family loves. If you are trying to lose weight, you may want to pull up a list online of some very healthy food items and add them to your list.

  2. Step 2

    Make a list that contains breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks for each day of the week.

  3. Step 3

    Add meals to your list from your list of food and meals that your family loves. Keep it a variety though. You don't want to bore your family with eating the same thing every day.

  4. Step 4

    List several snack foods at the end of your list. These foods should be ones that can be eaten throughout the day as someone gets hungry.

  5. Step 5

    Shop for your food items on your list so that you will have all of the necessary ingredients to make your meals.

  6. Step 6

    Post your meal menu on your refrigerator so that your entire family can see exactly what will be served at each meal. This will help you to prepare meals quicker because you will not be wondering what to fix for a meal. You will already know because you have made your menu!
