Step 1
Search OnlineSearch online for flower delivery websites. Write down a list of your top 3-5 flower delivery websites. First thing you want to compare before pricing is the cutoff times for same day delivery. Cutoff times vary, usually between 12pm-3pm local time. If the cutoff time has already passed for the day, scratch out those companies from your list.
-
Step 2
Choose a TypeChoose a flower/bouquet type.
Now that you have a narrowed down list of companies that will deliver same day, decide what type of flowers you are wanting to order. Most local florists won't have exotics or special arrangements like birthday cake flowers ready for same day delivery. You may be limited to the flower type and arrangement available. So compare the websites on your list to see which one has the arrangement that you are looking for available for same day delivery. -
Step 3
Price Compare.
If two or more companies offer same day delivery on the perfect arrangement, start price comparing. Be sure to compare the delivery charges as well. For a deeper price comparison, search for an online coupon code for the websites, if available. You may be pleasantly surprised to find 10% off or more promotional codes online for various flower companies. -
Step 4
Place the order asap.
Once you have found the flower website whose cutoff time hasn't past, they have the flower arrangement you seek, and offer the best price; place your order as soon as possible before more time goes by. Be sure the receipient will be at the location designated until the latest delivery time. For example, some florists deliver until 5pm while others may deliver until 7pm. So if it is going to a place a business that closes at 5pm, you may want to have the flowers delivered to the home or make special arrangements for a specific time if possible. Be as accurate as possible on the name and address of reciepient. For a contact number, leave your number if you are wanting this to be a surprise. Double check on spelling for your card message. -
Step 5
Check for delivery confirmation.
Keep an eye on your email for delivery confirmation or contact customer service after the delivery cutoff time to confirm that the flowers were delivered. You may not have to do this step if you get a call from the reciepient themselves!
