Things You'll Need:
- 1 package chocolate wafer cookies
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate
- 4 packages cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- dash salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons whipping cream

Step 1
First you will need to place your chocolate wafers into a food processor until they have formed into fine crumbs. Then you will need to place the butter into a microwave safe bowl and place in the microwave until melted. Then add the butter into the food processor with the cookie crumbs. You will need to process until blended together.

Then you will need a nine inch spring form pan. You will place the crumb mixture into the pie pan and press it down onto the bottom and the sides. Then you will place the pan into a 300 degree oven for 10 minutes. Then remove from the oven and place the pan on a wire rack to cool.

Then you will need to place 6 ounces of the chocolate into a microwave safe bowl and melt it. Then you will need a medium bowl where you will add the softened cream cheese and sugar. Then you will need to add the eggs in one at a time. Then add in the flour, vanilla, salt and mix until all ingredients are combined.

Then you will add in the chocolate that you melted. Then mix on medium high speed until all the chocolate is mixed in. Then add to the crust that you have ready. Then place the cheesecake into a 325 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the center is set. Then remove from the oven and place on wire rack to cool. Then place the remaining chocolate into the microwave to melt then stir.

To the melted chocolate you will add the whipping cream. Then stir these together. Then frost the top of the cake with the melted the mixture. If you choose you can melt chocolate and drizzle over the top at this point or leave it as is. Once the cake has cooled completely cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
