Step 1
Start the washer on a gentle cycle. Set it for a large, cold load.
-
Step 2
As the water is beginning to fill the basin, add a detergent of your choice. Allow the washer to fill as you move on to the following step.
-
Step 3
Carefully remove the shower curtain from the curtain rod. When taking the curtain off of its hooks, do your best not to tear the holes. (Afterall, if you're reading this how-to article, then it's supposedly a cheap curtain. Right?)
-
Step 4
Place the shower curtain in the washer. Ensure that the curtain is evenly spaced around the basin, to keep the washer from getting off balance.
-
Step 5
Close the lid, and let the washer run its course.
-
Step 6
When the washer has finished, remove the curtain. You may want to set it on a towel, to keep it from dripping on the floor as you cross the house (or apartment).
-
Step 7
Place the bottom end of the curtain in the tub, so that any residual water can fall into the drain as you hang it up.
-
Step 8
Rehang the curtain, pushing each ring through the appropriate hole.
-
Step 9
Allow to dry...
Unless of course you need a shower...
