Kids can be picky eaters. Please picky eaters with snack recipes using crackers that are fun to make and yummy to eat. Let the kids make the snacks using items you have in the pantry or refrigerator. It's hands-on fun, healthy and less work for you. Put the crackers out on a plate, and the additional ingredients in separate bowls. Supervise very young children, especially if you are using the microwave to heat any of the cracker snacks. Does this Spark an idea?

      Spread a layer of pizza sauce on the cracker. Top it off with some shredded cheese and microwave the cracker for a few seconds to melt the cheese. Add a pepperoni or any other pizza topping you have on hand.

      Make the cracker into a taco. Spread taco sauce over the cracker and add a layer of Mexican cheese. Microwave the cracker for a few seconds to melt the cheese. Add a dollop of sour cream for extra flavor.

      Use crackers as a substitute for bread. Spread peanut butter on one cracker and jelly on another to create and easy peanut butter and jelly sandwich variation.
