The next school year is just around the corner and for many students it will be their first time attending school and many will be leaving the care of their mother for the first time. Many parents are looking for ways to give their children or child the head start he or she will be need when the school year begins in few weeks from now. Here are some ways to give your child the start they need.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Ensure that your child a eat a balance diet each day, which includes plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Fish is also important. Try including a couple pieces of fresh fruits in their lunches each day.

  2. Step 2

Ensure that your child drink plenty of fresh water each. Water is essential for concentration and alertness.

  3. Step 3

Help them to develop good social skills and encourage them to play or make friends with others. Helping your child to develop high self-esteem will help in their daily life interacting with others

  4. Step 4

Let your child have the basic idea of what to expect in this new school and help them to make the transition very smoothly from home to school or from one grade to the other. This won't be easy for the child so the strong support from guardians is very important

  5. Step 5

Make sure your child get enough sleep each night to restore, refresh and recover for the next day. Having enough sleep will help your child to remain alert and concentrate during the day.

  6. Step 6

Help your child in the evenings with homework and find out as much as you can about how their day went. This will let your child feel important and will be glad to go back to school the following day so they can relate to you how their day went.
