Keeping the freshness in your coffee beans will result in a fresh ground cup of coffee evertime.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1-2 Quart freezer storage bags
  • coffee beans
  1. Step 1

Buy your favorite coffee beans and a 1-2 Quart ziploc freezer bag. Beans left out at room temperature tend to lose their flavor after awhile, so to prevent this...

  2. Step 2

Empty the coffee beans into a ziploc freezer bag. If you have a vacumn pac you can vacumn out the excess air or do it the old fashioned way.

  3. Step 3

Close off most of the ziploc until only a small opening is left. Pinch your forefinger and thumb on either side of the opening and push towards each other. This creates a hole.

  4. Step 4

Put your lips up to the hole and suck out the air. You'll see the bag collapse in on itself as you do this. After all the air is out of the bag place in freezer. You'll have fresh beans for coffee everytime and they will stay fresh for up to a year.

Tips & Warnings
  • Sometimes one breath is not enough to get all the air out. Just remember when taking another breath don't blow back into the bag.
