Things You'll Need:
- Egg, pot, water, salt, cold water, optionally ice cubes
-
Step 1
Place an egg in the water in the pot to boil it.
-
Step 2
Add at least 1 teaspoon of salt to the water. 1 teaspoon is minimum for small pot and few eggs. Bigger pot and/or more eggs require more salt.
-
Step 3
Boil the egg over desired time period, like you normally do. Don't forget to cover the pot, so they will cook evenly and quickly.
-
Step 4
Remove the egg from hot water and put in cold water or pour out the hot water from the pot and fill with cold one to cool down it quickly.
-
Step 5
When ready to eat or prepare the dish, the shell should come off really easily without damaging the egg. If the shell still is sticking to white, most probably it was not enough salt in the water.
