Tinted moisturizers are very convenient and provide just enough coverage for a daily simple and yet, fresh look. They can also be used before you apply your mineral makeup for additional coverage. Don't spend extra money buying them! Just make your own tinted moisturizer at home with makeup you already have!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • any moisturizer of your choice that is not gel-based.
  • liquid foundation of your choice.
  • mixing plate (you can just use a small dish or even a large spoon)
  1. Step 1

Wash your hands before manipulating the products to prevent any breakouts.

  2. Step 2

Put a dime-size amount of moisturizer into the mixing plate. Add a pea sizer of your liquid foundation to start and mix them together until you get a homogeneous mixture. Feel free to add more foundation to your taste for heavier coverage.

  3. Step 3

Once you achieve the desired shade, apply the tinted moisturizer on your skin either using your finger tips, a blending brush or a blending sponge (whatever you are more comfortable using. Keep in mind that tinted moisturizers are supposed to provide very light coverage, so keep everything simple for a natural look).

  4. Step 4

After you finish applying your makeup, make sure to wash the tools used (e.g., mixing plate, brush) so they are ready to go for your next use!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can mix the foundation with your sunscreen. It provides coverage and protection!
