How To Learn Korean Slang
Although numerous Korean-language books deal with how to speak the language properly, a majority of these books do not cover slang, which is largely what the language is in informal situations. Just as any language, slang has its place and needs correct use. Luckily, lots of resources online deal with learning Korean slang.

1
Go to the Korean Language Notes website (See Resources.). This has a list of slang expressions written in Korean and translated into English. You must be able to read Korean in order to be able to speak the expressions correctly.

2
Go to the Korean Language website (See Resources.). This has a shorter list of Korean slang words, but includes a few proverbs as well. Although this is a relatively short list, they are useful phrases, and the Korean intonation is spelled out in English.

3
Create a MySpace or Facebook account. Browse for people from Korea and add them as friends. Send a message stating how you would like to learn some Korean slang, and maybe in return you could teach them some English slang.
-
4
Create an account with Language Exchange Online (See Resources.). Search for people who are Korean and would like to earn English. This is a free language- exchange program through Skype, so you can have the opportunity to speak with a person one-on-one rather than through email.

5
Write down the new phrases that you have learned and keep them in a notebook. Recite these phrases to any Korean friends if you happen. Write them in a blog or record yourself saying them in sentences and upload a video onto YouTube, if you do not know any Korean people. You will most likely get comments on your blog or video about how good your Korean is.
