How to Clean a Coffeemaker With White Vinegar

Things You'll Need

• White vinegar
• Water

Instructions

1. Fill your coffeemaker with equal parts white vinegar and water.

2. With a carafe in place, turn on the coffeemaker so that the vinegar solution drips through.

3. Turn off the coffeemaker halfway through the cycle. Let it sit for an hour, then turn it on again to complete the cycle.

4. Run several cycles of plain water to remove the vinegar aftertaste.
