How to find foreclosed property using Google Maps

Are you looking to purchase foreclosed real estate property? Do you want to know how many properties are foreclosed in your neighborhood? Use this article to find foreclosed property using Google Maps.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Use your Internet browser to open the Google web page at www.google.com. Click the Maps option seen at the top of the page.

  2. Step 2

    At the top of the Google Maps page, click 'Show search options'. A dropdown window will be displayed with 'All Results' as the initial setting.

  3. Step 3
     

    Use the search option dropdown window to select 'Real Estate' and enter the full address or combination of city, state, or zip code in the adjacent text box. Press the Search Maps button to start the search.

  4. Step 4

    Use the Real Estate window on the left of the page to select price range, number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and square feet. An option is also provided to narrow the search to Foreclosure listing types.

Tips & Warnings
  • The Google map will represent each foreclosure property as a red dot and each may be clicked for more information.
