How to Make a Wood and Cork Bulletin Board
One way to use those corks from wine and champagne bottles is to create your own bulletin board. A bulletin board allows you to keep up with special events and bills that are due by keeping your papers in one place. Create your own individual bulletin board using a few items you probably already have on hand.

1
Gather up all of your used corks, and wash them in warm water so they are clean. Allow the corks to completely dry.
-
2
Purchase a frame you would like to use. Check local flea markets and yard sales to get a deal on a vintage frame. Remove the glass and the cardboard backing from the frame so all you are left with is the wood.
-
3
Cut a piece of pegboard to fit in the back of the frame. Measure the size with a tape measure. Have your local hardware store cut the board to size, or cut the board with a circular saw.
-
4
Run a line of carpenter's glue on the back edge of the frame, and attach the board. Press the board tightly to the frame, then place books on top of it and allow it to dry overnight.
-
5
Glue the corks into place by laying the corks out on the frame. Apply a line of hot glue using a hot glue gun to the back, and press into place. Fill up the entire inside area of the frame. Wait an hour for the glue to set.

6
Hammer a nail into the wall where you want the frame to go. Hang the board up by the hanger on the back of the frame. Add push pins to the corks to begin hanging your papers.
