Reubens can be made with pastrami, corned beef or turkey. Though reubens are traditionally made with corned beef, pastrami can be very tasty, and a turkey reuben is, of course, very healthy.

Either way, reubens are delicious! And the best part is that reubens are easy to make!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • butter
  • Rye Bread
  • pastrami, corned beef or turkey
  • swiss cheese
  • saurkraut
  • russian dressing (or thousand island)
  1. Step 1

To start making your reuben, butter one side of each piece of rye bread. Place them in a frying pan, butter side down, over medium low heat.

  2. Step 2

Add swiss cheese to the bread, and your choice of meat for the reuben. Allow the cheese on your reuben to melt. You are almost done making your reuben!

  3. Step 3

When your reuben sandwhich is almost golden brown, add a couple spoonfuls of saurkraut. (You don't want to heat the saurkraut too much). And close your reuben sandwich.

  4. Step 4

Serve your reuben sandwich with russian dressing on the side for dipping. See, it's easy to make a delcious reuben!
