How to Get Dried Blood Out of Fabric

Save

How often have you realized that there is a small blood stain already dried on your clothes, sheets, or on other fabric? Well, no longer do you have to resign yourself to keeping that stain there or throwing that shirt away! You can get rid of the stain, in about two seconds!

Things You'll Need

  • Hydrogen Peroxide
  • Cotton Ball
  • First, get your cotton ball and hydrogen peroxide ready. Put a small or large amount of hydrogen peroxide on the cotton ball, depending on the size of stain and the length of time it has been dried.

  • Rub the stain with the cotton ball, as necessary, until the stain is removed! You may need to use more than one cotton ball and get the cotton ball more or less wet depending on the stain. The stain should be lifted after you rub for a few seconds.

  • You may want to wash the piece of fabric after this, but the stain should be gone!

Tips & Warnings

  • I have done this on my bedspread, as well as articles of clothing.
  • Fabric could be damaged by hydrogen peroxide, although I've never had this happen!
