Grapeseed extract belongs to a group of naturally occurring substances known as oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs). They are present in a wide variety of plants and food sources and act as powerful antioxidants, as well as helping to strengthen capillaries, boost immune function, prevent varicose veins, repair connective tissue and assist with allergy control.

  • Grapeseed Extract
  • Pycnogenol
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin E

  1. Step 1

    Buy a product which contains at least 80% proanthocyandins. This helps assure antioxidant activity.

  2. Step 2

    Take at the same time as your other vitamins. It works synergistically with vitamins.

  3. Step 3

    Take with vitamin C. They work together for a better antioxidant effect.

  4. Step 4

    Take your vitamin E at the same time as grapeseed extract. It may strenghten vitamin E's antioxidant effect.

Tips & Warnings
  • Recommended dose for an adult is 150-200mg.
  • Another popular OPC is pycnogenol, which is made from pine bark. You can try both and see which one you prefer, or take both.
