To fix irritable bowel syndrome, you need a plan. This is your simple solution to curing IBS.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • IBS
  1. Step 1

Irritable bowel syndrome or IBS is a problem that many people suffer from. It is not easily diagnosed, and often more difficult to treat.

  2. Step 2

If you suffer from irritable bowel syndrome, you may have the following symptoms:
    Regular Constipation
Bloating and extra gas or wind
    Frequent Diarrhea
    Acid Reflux
    Food Intolerance challenges
    Tiredness throughout the day
    Lack of energy
    Bad skin
    Backache
    Headache
    Depression or Anxiety
    Abnormal weight gain
    Lack of concentration

  3. Step 3

The reason why IBS is so difficult to cure is because there is not one perfect "one size fits all" remedy. Each person has to make their own plan to fix irritable bowel syndrome.

  4. Step 4

The first step for many people to cure IBS is to stop eating and only drink water for 1 or 2 days and let your body clean itself. Next you want to slowly introduce foods back into your diet one at a time and take notes if any food irritates your bowels. Do the same for any new liquids that you introduce. If something irritates you, mark that food as a food to avoid. Continue introducing one food and one liquid at a time until you are eating a regular diet of healthy foods that do not disturb your stomach. This is the simple effective way to cure irritable bowel syndrome.

Tips & Warnings
  • Pay close attention to your body and warning signs you feel of constipation, diarrhea, or irritation. Eliminate foods that cause these symptoms from your diet immediately.
  • After introducing a new food, allow one day to see how the food reacts with your body before introducing another new food.
