Things You'll Need:
- Belt
- Corkscrew ("winged" style works best)
- Pen
- Work surface
-
Step 1
On the reverse side of the belt, mark with a pen the spot where you need a new hole. For professional-looking results, keep the spacing consistent with the current belt holes.
-
Step 2
Lay the belt on the work surface with the reverse side facing up. You should be able to see the pen mark you made for the new hole.
-
Step 3
Place the corkscrew on top of the belt and slowly lower the sharp tip directly over the pen mark.
-
Step 4
Slowly twist the corkscrew until the tip penetrates the belt and protrudes through to the other side. Presto! A beautiful new belt hole.
-
Step 5
If you need to add additional holes, remember to try to keep the spacing consistent with the other holes.
