Step 1
Start today. No excuses. Don't use time, diet, children, Monday, tomorrow, or any other day as an excuse.

Photos. Post photos of your inspirational people where you will see them frequently. Your inspiration could be your family, kids, spouse, ex, or some people you would like to look like. If you decide to use people you want to look like, be reasonable, because you could become discouraged. Remember, this is a lifestyle change.

Step 3
Same time. Try to exercise at the same time every time or close to it. You are more apt to continue and not skip if you are consistent.

Step 4
Partner. Exercise with someone who will rely on you to exercise. You could also use a coworker or friend who is starting to workout and question each other everyday about each others workouts to help you exercise alone.

Step 5
Tell people. Let people know you are starting to exercise so you will be motivated to continue.
