Things You'll Need:
-
Step 1
Use 3% hydrogen peroxide (which is sold in stores) as a mouth wash.
Why?
It whitens your teeth and gets rid of canker sores. You won't even have to use the expensive whitening products to get the same result! -
Step 2
Clean your house with hydrogen peroxide.
Why?
Hydrogen kills germs, by acting as a sanitizer. Use on counter tops and cutting boards. It kills salmonella, E Coli, and other bacteria. It will also leave everything smelling fresh! -
Step 3
Add hydrogen peroxide to the dishwasher.
Why?
Adding 2 ounces of 3% hydrogen peroxide to your dishwasher will sanitize your dishes and prevent the transmission of colds and illnesses. -
Step 4
Lighten your hair.
Why?
By using a 50/50 mixture (3% hydrogen peroxide and water), apply to wet hair. This will give you natural looking highlights without overdoing it. -
Step 5
Add hydrogen peroxide to your whites.
Why?
Hydrogen peroxide can be used as a bleaching alternative. Simply use in place of bleach. You can also apply directly to troublesome spots. -
Step 6
Use hydrogen peroxide as a vegetable and fruit wash.
Why?
Remember, it kills germs! It also removes pesticides and harmful chemicals. -
Step 7
Soak your feet.
Why?
Hydrogen peroxide helps in the healing of cuts and scrapes. It cures athlete's foot, and saves scaly skin.
Use about 1/2 cup 3% hydrogen peroxide, 4 Tbsp. of Epsom salt, and fill the rest of your foot soaking tub with hot water. -
Step 8
Use in your pool or hot tub.
Why?
Hydrogen peroxide can be used in place of chlorine. Chlorine is harsh on the skin. Hydrogen peroxide won't irritate your skin, but will leave your skin softened. It disinfects the water and leaves a fresh, clean smell. -
Step 9
Spray on your plants.
Why?
This helps them get extra oxygen and heals sick plants. To use, mix 1 cup of water and 1 ounce of 3% hydrogen peroxide and put in a spray bottle. Water as usual. -
Step 10
Remove tanning streaks.
Why?
Hydrogen peroxide is a lightener. Use by applying 3% hydrogen peroxide to the skin using a cotton swab.

on 9/13/2009 Another use is if the bubbler on your fish tank goes out you can add 1 tablespoon into your aquarium because hydrogen peroxide breaks down into oxygen and H2O. Safe in small amounts for your fish. Great post, I hadn't ever thought of most of those uses.
