No one ever thinks it would be difficult to survive a summer music festival. It's something no one plans out, and then you get there and it's like BAM you need better planning.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water, lots of it!
  • Cold Hard Cash
  • comfy shoes and clothes
  1. Step 1

Make sure you have water, gatorade, or some other good drink. You don't want to get dehydrated. Even if it's not hot out, your going to be outside alll day, and around a lot of people. It makes you hot, and dizzy, and faint.. you need nutrition!

  2. Step 2

Take Cash in with you, and leave your credit cards in the car. You don't want to loose your credit cards, and be stuck with nothing. Most of the booths, and food/drink stands will require cash anyways. Plus if there is an ATM on site, it's most likely to charge you a fee for using it.

  3. Step 3

Wear your your most comfortable pair of shoes. DO NOT wear new shoes. You will regret trying to break in anything when your going to be on your feet for that long. Make sure your clothes are comfortable and not overbearingly heavy. If they are to heavy then you'll get hot, and that would make your festival very unpleasant.

  4. Step 4

If you don't like being around a ton of people, it's probably best to not be right up on the stage. People push, and shove, and there's really nothing you can do about it. (I tend to get out of the front as soon as the crow surfing starts, you don't want kicked in the head.)

  5. Step 5

If you do get sick, find a first aid center right away. They will be able to help you more than you continuing to run around the festival getting sicker.

  6. Step 6

These things tend to be a giant party, make sure you don't set down any drinks or anything and leave it, then go back for it. You never know what kind of people will be there and what will be put in your drink.
