Create a Sunflower Wedding Centerpiece for Your Fall Wedding

If you are having a fall wedding with sunflowers this is an easy and budget friendly centerpiece to create with a mason jar. This centerpiece is easy and elegant for any wedding reception or fall harvest party. Here is how to create your sunflower wedding centerpiece with a mason jar.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

ITEMS YOU WILL NEED: You will need a mason jar with the jar lid ring for every centerpiece you want to make. You will need a large silk sunflower for every centerpiece you are making. You will need white or colored sand that matches the wedding colors. You will need a pillar candle that will fit inside of the mason jar. You will need a hot glue gun, and some baby's breath and smaller silk sunflowers as well.

  2. Step 2

CREATE YOUR ROSE WEDDING CENTERPIECE: To get started on this sunflower wedding centerpiece, first using your hot glue gun, glue the large silk sunflower to the outside of the gold ring that screws onto the top of the mason jar. Set that aside to dry and set up.

  3. Step 3

Next, glue some pieces of the baby's breath and tiny silk sunflowers around the bottom of the mason jar. Simply glue these right to the glass at the bottom of the mason jar to look like a flower ring setting around the bottom of the jar. You could also use a pre-made flower ring if you wish, but gluing some loose flowers and baby's breath is a cheaper way to decorate the jar. Next, glue the tall pillar candle down into the center of the mason jar. Finally, pour your sand in the jar around the pillar candle up to about 1 inch high.
