Use Organic Peanut Oil

Organic peanut oil is a popular oil used in cooking and skin care. It has also been used in natural health remedies for hundreds of years. In 1900, the Otto Company of France demonstrated that peanut oil could be used as a diesel fuel. Today the oil is used in bio diesel fuels.

The oil is very popular in Africa and Asia. India and China are both large peanut producers and most of the peanuts these countries produce become peanut oil. This oil is high in palmitic acid, oleic acid, and linoleic acid. The oil also has a lot of monounsaturated fatty acids. The amount of monounsaturated fat in organic peanut oil makes it similar to olive oil when it comes to health benefits. Let's look at what you can use this oil for.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Cook with it. Organic peanut oil is commonly used in Asian cooking. It is good to use in stir fries because it has a high smoking point, over 450 degrees Fahrenheit. It is also good to use for deep frying because it has a high flash point. Chick-fil-A uses peanut oil to fry their chicken. The oil is quite durable and doesn't hang on to the flavor of the food it's being used to cook.

  2. Step 2

Put it in salad dressings. Peanut oil has a light nutty flavor that works well in salad dressing. Try making a vinaigrette with peanut oil instead of olive oil sometime. It also makes a good oil base for a miso salad dressing.

  3. Step 3

Mix it with other ingredients to marinade meats and vegetables.

  4. Step 4

Take a spoonful of oil to relieve constipation. Peanut oil is a stool softener.

  5. Step 5

Use organic peanut oil as a massage oil. Massaging the joints with peanut oil relieves the achy joints of arthritis. Peanut oil also helps diminish acne scars and protect against getting blackheads.
