In the second phase of the South Beach Low Carb Diet you can start to add in more foods however you should be following more defined meal plans. You can introduce good carbs during this section. You can find phase 2 menus by searching on Google. In general you can add one good carb per day to your meal. This phase should last until you get to your ideal weight. -
Step 3
Phase 3 of the South Beach Low Carb Diet
Phase 3 of the South Beach Low Carb Diet is to maintain the weight loss you achieved on the South Beach Low Carb Diet. You can slowly add in more good carbs to your diet but should watch how your body reacts to see what you can handle without gaining weight.
