• Your web hosting username and password

1. Enter the URL for your web hosting control panel. When the prompt appears, enter your username and password.

   Once you are logged in to cpanel, next click on Fantastico.

   Next, you will need to click on the Wordpress link. You should find it in a long list of links along the side of the screen.

   New Installation of Wordpress

   Now, click in the link labeled New Installation.

5. Select the folder where you would like to install Wordpress. If you want the homepage of your blog to load when visitors type in your base URL, then do not enter anything in this field. In the Admin access data area, enter the username and password that you would like to use to access your blog from the admin area. Lastly, under Base configuration, enter the name that you would to appear when you write posts on your blog, enter your admin email address, enter the name of your site, and then, if you like, you can enter a short description of your blog. When you have finished entering this information, click Install Wordpress.

6. On the next screen you will need to verify that the information you entered is correct. If it appears to be correct, then click Finish installation.

7. A confirmation notice will now appear on your screen. If you would like a copy of this information, then you may send it to yourself via email.
