How to Use Laminex
Whether you need identification cards, employee badges or personalized health care cards, a Laminex machine and laminating film can produce high quality lamination. For high volume items such as gift cards and promotional signs, Laminex is a time saving alternative to laminating by hand. You can produce sturdy cards that last much longer than flimsy card stock and will be more economical long term because you don't have to replace them as often.

1
Turn on the Laminex machine by pressing the "Temperature On" switch located on the left side of the control panel. Wait 30 minutes for the laminator to reach the appropriate temperature.
-
2
Put the laminating film roll on the mandrel by sliding it over the gripper. Next, load the mandrel onto the laminator by sliding the end through the tension adjuster and clicking it into the left side bracket.

3
Take off the heat guard and feed tray and set aside. Pull the film through the rollers on the front of the laminator. Press the "Fwd" button on the control panel to start the motor. This will feed the film through and wind it onto the machine. Replace the heat guard and feed tray.
-
4
Place your card or sheet of paper on the "feed table" and guide it into the laminator. Make sure you keep the card flat while you feed or the lamination film will wrinkle and the results will not be smooth.
-
5
Move the motor switch from "Fwd" to "Stop." Remove your card from the machine by cutting the film as your card passes through the rear rollers.
