Step 1
Open an Internet browser on your computer and navigate to the MapNav download site (see Resources).

Select the Motorola Rokr from the phone selection drop-down menu.

Download the latest version of the free MapNav application and save it to your computer.

Connect your Motorola Rokr phone to the computer using the USB or bluetooth connector.

Open the Motorola Rokr management interface on the computer.

Drag and drop the MapNav application into the application directory of the phone to install.

Click "OK" when prompted for installation to the phone.

Allow the application to install. When finished, navigate to the new application using the phone's keyboard.

Test the MapNav GPS capabilities on your phone.

Open an Internet browser on your Motorola Rokr phone and navigate to the mobile download site for the MapNav application (see Resources).

Enter the mobile quick download code of 38679.

Click "OK" to download and install the application to the phone.

Navigate to the MapNav application on your Rokr phone from the application screen.

Test the GPS capabilities by completing Section 3.

Navigate to the MapNav icon from the main screen of your Motorola Rockr phone. Click the icon to open the MapNav application. The MapNav main menu screen will appear.

Select the "GPS On/Off" setting and toggle to the "On" position. This will activate the GPS receiving capabilities on the phone.

Select "Navigation" from the main screen to enter an address, GPS coordinates or waypoints. Enter an address to test the GPS capabilities. Your route will map onto the phone. Use the zoom function on each screen to zoom the map view in or out.

Select "Marks" from the main screen to save route data. Select "Exit" to close the application.
