How to Create a Budget in Microsoft Project

      Click the "View" menu item again and select "Resource Usage." From this screen, the resource budget is set.

      Click "Column" in the "Insert" section. Add a budget cost and click "OK." Repeat this step until all costs are entered for each part of the project resource. Close the budget window. The budget is set for the project.
