How to Clean Microfiber Materials

Cleaning microfiber requires the use of a foaming cleaner such as Tuff Stuff.

• Tuff Stuff foam cleaner

Instructions

1. Microfiber is easily stained and blemished; especially on a high wear item like a purse. Use the product Tuff Stuff foam cleaner which is avilable at any hardware store, auto parts store or large home improvement store and some grocery stores.

2. Follow the directions on the can but a few quick tips are to thoroughly saturate the material and rub gently with a soft, wet and warm cloth. The cleaner works by penetrating the material (and stain) and requires time to lift the stain out.

3. After allowing the cleaner to "work" for about one minute, wipe clean and repeat. You can repeat this step as often as needed. It is important not to let the cleaner dry which may imbed the stain in the material. Tuff Stuff also works on carpet and fabrics and is especially effective on vinyl.
