How to Find Cheap Clothing

Anyone with an eye for deals know that buying cheap clothing is easier than most people believe. Even if it's simply purchasing a cheap top to accent a pair of jeans that you already own, bargain shopping is quite simple. With the right places to look, shopping for cheap clothing can be fun and, in the end, your shopping bags will be full and so will your wallet.

Instructions

1. Browse thrift shops. All different styles and sizes of clothing can be found at thrift stores. Look for vintage tops and flashy accessories that could possibly "make" an outfit that you already own.

2. Check online. Sites like Craigslist and eBay offer discount clothing on a regular basis. On Craigslist, it's not uncommon to find clothes that are actually free! Search these sites daily in order to get in on the best deals.

3. Look through the clearance racks. When you're shopping, don't forget to look in the clearance racks. It's not unusual to find something that you like for less than 10 bucks. Be sure to look between every pair of clothes so you don't miss something.

4. Shop at garage sales and yard sales. This is probably the best way to find cheap clothing because the prices are usually very low as the seller's intentions are to "get rid" of the items for a little extra cash.

5. Sign up for sites like Whats Mine is Yours or Freecycle (see References). Sites like these give members the option of giving their clothing away in exchange for something a little more their style (or size).
