Crop Pictures with Microsoft Office Picture Manager
Crop Pictures with Microsoft Office Picture Manager

Take a look at the main picture I've uploaded to this article. I will be using this picture to show you how cropping works. To crop a picture the first thing you will need is a photo editing program comparable to Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Open Microsoft Office Picture Manager and go to File at the top of the application and select Locate Pictures - or go to your picture and right click on the image then select Open With and choose the Microsoft Office Picture Manager (red and white picture icon).

  2. Step 2

To crop a picture with Microsoft Office Picture Manager click on Picture at the top of the page and select crop. Now you will see a black border frame dashes around the picture. If you see this then your ready to start cropping your picture.

  3. Step 3

Take the mouse and click and hold on one of the black dash frames surrounding the picture. When you scroll over them the mouse should change into a different shape. After you hold the mouse clicker down and start to move the arrow around here you should be able to see a portion of the picture shaded now and another square or rectangular portion showing the original picture. When you let go of the mouse the area that shows the original picture will be your new picture and the shaded region will be cut out.

  4. Step 4

Once you have the picture cropped to show the portion of the picture you want to focus on you click OK on the right side of the page and your picture is now cropped. Then click on file save as and save your picture. That is the easiest way I know how to crop crop pictures with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Good luck!
