Find amazing back to school clothes at fabulous prices!

Looking for high quality, hip back to school clothes for your kids? Regardless of their age, these ideas will save you money and send your children back to school with outfits that are top of the class!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

With back to school shopping upon us, it can be a challenge to find great clothes at reasonable prices. These tips will help you in buying the clothes your kids want... you know the ones, EVERYONE has them... while keeping to a budget. First, look for sales and then hold on to that receipt! Sales are a great way to save quite a lot of money. Nothing puts a damper though, on a great buy, more than seeing it reduced further as the first day of school draws closer. Most stores will offer you a one time price adjustment per purchase. This means that if you save your receipt, and the further reduction is within the allotted time frame (usually about ten days from your original purchase), the store will refund you the difference. This practice is quite popular now and the additional savings really adds up.

  2. Step 2

Another way to save is by giving the store your email. You may receive a few seasonal updates and new merchandise notices but stores also email great coupons. These are often reserved only for their online community. I get a coupon, a few times a year, from my favorite store offering "$25 Off $50". It's a great way of picking up an extra special back to school item!

  3. Step 3

Ebay is another way to get amazing savings on the most popular brands. Check back often, buy carefully and enjoy knowing you got quite a steal.

  4. Step 4

One of my favorite shopping haunts are consignment stores. They are everywhere these days and most have become particular about what they carry. They stock for the current season and the clothes are often spectacular. Many items look brand new. Great for everyday wear, special occasions such as prom and even for outwear ... like a pricey ski jacket or coat!

  5. Step 5

Lastly, don't forget the outlet malls. The drive is sometimes a bit further but, if your shopping for many items at once, the savings is worth the extra miles. Most outlet stores are stocked with items that are current or just one fall season behind. Terrific for everything including shoes. Best wishes as you start the new school year!
