How to Connect the S-Drive to a Philips HDTV
The S-Video drive is a connecting cable which produces a slightly better image than the standards RCA cable; however, the quality is less than the more advanced composite cables. In any Philips HDTV, there is typically one S-Video drive used in unison with RCA cables which will transfer the sound of the device onto the HDTV.

1
Plug the S-Video cable into the appropriate device.
-
2
Plug the other end of the S-Video cable into the back of the Philips HDTV. This will generally be in the "Video 1" input.
-
-
3
Plug in the two audio connectors of the RCA cable (red and white) into the device, then plug the two audio connectors of the other end into the back of the Philips HDTV (into "Video 1").
-
4
Power on the device, followed by the Philips HDTV. Switch the video input to "Video 1." The Philips HDTV will now display the image from the device through the S-Video drive and the audio from the RCA cables.
