Go to Yahoo's main website. Click the "Mail" icon on the left side of the page. Click the "Create New Account" button at the bottom of the page.

Enter your name, location, gender, birthday, country and postal code. Enter a Yahoo ID. This will be the beginning of your email address.

Click the "Check" button to see if your preferred ID is available, change it if necessary. Enter a password and recovery options. Enter the code at the bottom of the page and click "Create My Account."
