How to Make a Birthday Cake for Your Dog
In an 2007 Harris Interactive Poll, pet owners were asked if they considered their companion animals as family members. A whopping 88 percent said they did. Furthermore, the American Pet Association reported that 19 million people celebrate their pet's birthday. If you are one of them, you may want to try a yummy, yet nutritious canine birthday cake.

Tips & Warnings
To make a bone-shaped cake, double the recipe and bake your cake in a 9 by 11 inch rectangular cake pan and two small round cake pans. Cut the circles in half and place each half on both ends of your rectangle. Round them out to look like the ends of a bone.
Do not allow your dog to eat large amounts at a time.
