How To Change a BSNL Password


Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is India's number one Internet service provider. The company's broadband internet is called BSNL Dataone. The common broadband plan is called Dialer which requires the user to provide a username and password to connect to the Internet. For security reasons, it is a good idea to change the password regularly to avoid someone else using your Internet service.

  • Click the DataOne Connection Icon that was created on the desktop during the initial configuration.

  • Open Internet Explorer or another browser. Go to

  • Click the Dataone Account Administration link and enter your current login information. Once you log in, click the "Change Password" link.

  • Provide your old password and the new password. Confirm the new password by typing it a second time and click "Change Password."

  • Wait for the "Successful" message.

  • Log out and try to log in using your new password to make sure the change is effective.
