How to Find Out a Business Credit Index Score for Free
Businesses have credit histories just as individual consumers do. Credit reporting agencies such as Experian, TransUnion and Equifax maintain information about the credit-related activity for businesses and compile the information in a credit report that is assigned a score. Businesses use the credit information about other businesses to decide whether or not to extend credit to that business. Businesses can get a free copy of their credit report from a credit reporting agency within 30 days if the agency's information was used to deny the business credit.
