When your baby starts acting different or fussy find out if it is because they are teething or if it is due to something else entirely.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

The major sign that your baby is teething is that they are drooling a lot. This is a time when you will always want a burp cloth on hand to wipe up the drool.

  2. Step 2

When a baby that was having no trouble sleeping through the night is suddenly up all night long then they could be teething. This can start as early as 3 months old.

  3. Step 3

The baby is chewing on her hands constantly. This does not mean that they are hungry they are trying to soothe themselves by chewing on their fist.

  4. Step 4

A slight elevated temperature is also a sign of teething. Nothing drastic like over a hundred but just a slight temperature.

  5. Step 5

Baby is more fussy than usual and can't seem to get comfortable no matter what position they are in.

  6. Step 6

If your baby shows these signs of teething then please review my article on how to deal with a teething baby. Please consult your doctor before administering any medication to your baby. Most doctors will have you avoid medicine and try alternative treatments.
