Give a Cat Topical Flea Medication
Give a Cat Topical Flea Medication

Do you struggle to get Kitty's flea medicine on her rather than all over yourself. After just a few simple steps you will gain the upper hand, and Kitty will be flea free!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Your Kitty
  • You
  • Another family member
  • Topical Flea Medication
  1. Step 1

Open the liquid topical flea medicine. (You should have disposable gloves to protect your hands if possible) Get it ready for use. Get a table cleared and ready for Kitty to sit on.

  2. Step 2

Have a family member or friend put Kitty on the table. Have them wrap their arms around her while holding her paws so she can't get away. It's also good for them to talk sweetly to her.

  3. Step 3

You should then find Kitty's shoulder blades.(you should be able to feel them sticking out by feeling for them) Finally part the hair and immediately and lightly scrape her skin with the tube and squeeze all the medicine out. There that is it. You are done, Good job!

Tips & Warnings
  • It is always best to apply medicine when your cat is in a relaxed state of mind. When she is calm or even sleepy you will get the best results.
